Scaling up RightOrigins

Challenge
CIED had capable AI technology and needed a business unit, a clear offer and a go-to-market strategy that could scale.
What I did
Shaped the AI business unit, including RightOrigins, and designed its go-to-market with engineering, product, marketing and sales. Built relationships with clients and partners, and represented CIED at international conferences and trade fairs.

Challenge
A new foundation representing Indian startups to government needed members and credibility.
What I did
Joined the leadership team to run ecosystem relations and alliances, working closely with founders of Paytm, Matrimony.com, MapmyIndia and Innov8.
Result
Membership grew from 20 to 500+ in a year, including unicorn and soonicorn founders.

Challenge
Build and fund a hardware product for action-sports athletes, starting as a student founder in Kochi.
What I did
Led business development, fundraising and operations for RideBlock. Opened offices in Abu Dhabi and Los Angeles, pitched RideBlock to Mark Cuban, and presented at demo days at Make in LA and Flat6Labs.
Result
Raised $500K from angels, Accel, Qualcomm Ventures, Flat6Labs and MiLA Capital.

Jibin Jose

I studied Computer Science and Engineering in Kochi and started my first company, Flipmotion, while still a student. We built RideBlock for skateboarders and surfers, raised $500K, and opened offices in Abu Dhabi and Los Angeles.

Then I switched sides. At ZG Consulting I advised startups, angels and family offices. At Startup Bridge in San Francisco I put Indian B2B founders in front of Fortune 500 buyers. At ADIF in Delhi I helped grow India's startup alliance from 20 to 500+ members.

Since 2022 I've led business development at CIED Group in the Netherlands, where I shaped the AI business unit and now take RightOrigins to market.

A soft spot for a good dial.

Watches are my other obsession. I have an immense love for Seiko dials, for Swiss watchmaking and for vintage watches that carry a past.

The best dial in my collection is the Seiko Presage “Matcha”, shot here up close: a textured green dial that shifts with every change of light.

I co-founded Flipmotion while still a Computer Science student in Kochi, and RideBlock was its product. As CEO I led business development, fundraising and operations, and took the company from a campus in Kochi to offices in Abu Dhabi and Los Angeles.
